This is a makeup image that I created with the legendary Marco Glaviano at the Pier 59 Studios in NYC. It was such a great collaboration to work with both Marco and Anneliese Seubert the delightful model on this cover. The look and colors I used were inspired by a throwback to the '80's high impact glamour. This and the incredible photographic and graphic cubism brilliance of Marco, resulted in one of the most memorable covers of American Photo magazine. Not only did this image find it's way on the cover of such a prestigious magazine, it was also featured in mega size at an art gallery showing in SoHo, NYC. The opening gala was packed with industry notables and celebrities like the always fabulous Ivana Trump.
